Our second RISO zine is all about washi: what is it and how do you use it?
Perfect for newbies and seasoned washi users looking for new ideas and inspiration alike! WE LOVE WASHI collects beautiful artwork, comics and instructional how-to pages from 20 talented artists.
WE LOVE WASHI is RISO-printed in 2 colours. Risograph is a type of printing that’s a mix between screen printing and photocopying, where each layer of colour (in this case 2 layers: fluorescent pink and light teal) is printed individually. This creates beautiful, vibrant colours and textures. Due to the unique nature of Risograph, each zine may be slightly different. RISO inks are also notoriously difficult to capture on camera, so expect your zine to be much more vibrant in person!
